A focused exam to address specific medical concerns, such as red or irritated eyes, eye infections, styes, scratches, vision loss, double vision, flashes, floaters, or foreign object removal. Also includes exams for ongoing conditions like diabetes, glaucoma, or macular degeneration. 

Dilation involves using special eye drops to widen your pupils. This allows Dr. Emil to obtain a better view of the back of your eyes and check for any issues that may not be visible during a regular exam. Your vision may be slightly blurry and sensitive to light for a few hours afterward. 

The fundus photo and OCT scan provide detailed images of the back of your eye, helping the doctor detect serious conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Emil will review the images with you and explain the results in a way that’s easy to understand. 

Is your child's prescription getting stronger every year? We can now do something about it. Orthokeratology, Special Soft Contact Lenses and Atropine eye drops can be used to slow down the progression of nearsightedness. During the consultation for your child (5-18) we will measure your child's eyes and provide you with a personalized myopia management report. The consultation fee will go towards the myopia management treatment if you choose to proceed.

Orthokeratology, or ortho-k, is the use of specially designed and fitted contact lenses to temporarily reshape the cornea to improve vision. If you are nearsighted and are looking to be free from contacts or glasses during the day - this could be a great option for you. We will measure a 3D topographical map of your eyes and will let you know if you're a good candidate.
